History of FUFC
FUFC was founded in 1966 on the bare bones of a newly developed Flinders University. They were founded in the pride of the “Double Blues” colours, which they wore so proudly. They started from the bottom and became a multi-time premiership winning club.
They won the Div 4 A Grade premiership in their inaugural year of 1966. They followed that up a couple of years later by winning Div 3 A Grade 1968, Div 2 A Grade 1969 and Div 7 A Grade in 2002.
They have had their ups and downs, wins and losses and dropping all the way down to Div 7. However to this day, they have never stopped fighting to get back on top, rise to Div 6 and beyond and achieve more premiership success in the years to come!
